Do you have family game nights? We have a great game to tell you about! 20 Questions-I have been playing it with my school agers and they love it! In this game you are given clues so you can guess the person, place, year or thing that is on the card. You are then able to move your pawn closer to the winners spot based on how few guesses it takes you to get the correct answer! This game is not only for kids, I had a hard time figuring out some of the answers they are challenging! I love games that are fun and educational at the same time-you don't realize how much you are learning while playing for instance did you know that in 1927 the Holland Tunnel opened, the German economy collapsed and the Yankees won the World Series?
That was a tough one-try these clues: this thing can be green, red, white or purple, sometimes it has seeds, in candy it is purple-a grape!
There are "20 Clues" on each card-hence 20 Questions! The clues start out hard and get easier as you get to number 20.
One day I just took the cards themselves outside to use with my kiddos instead of using the board game-they loved it! We used it more as a group game than individuals playing.
I highly suggest checking this game out for your family-it would also make an excellent gift for your child, family member or even your child's teacher or child care center!
The University Games company has a ton of fun games to share with your little ones and great party games geared towards adults (you might remember the Murder Mystery Party post I did around Halloween).
