FREE Lowe's Build and Grow Clinics in October

Lowe's has two more great projects for their free Build and Grow Clinics in October.

On Saturday, October 9th the project will be to build a Funhouse Mirror like the one pictured above.



Then on Saturday, October 23rd they will be building a Flapping Bat.

The recommended age range to attend is 1st-5th grades

The first 50 kids to register and be present at the store at 10am will receive a kit, apron and goggles.

Ever wanted to feed a giraffe?

Can I say again how much I love taking my kids to the Milwauke County Zoo?  At the Miller Brewing Company Giraffe Experience, visitors are able to feed the “gentle giants” every day of the week!

When weather permits (mid-May through mid-October), two giraffe feedings are offered at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for a fee of $5 for children ages 4 through 12, and $10 for ages 13 and over (there must be one paying adult per every two children). Every toddler must be accompanied by one paying adult.

Limited availability; tickets can only be purchased at the Flamingo Cafe' Gift Shop (near the Zoo's main entrance) for same day openings. If you have further questions, please call the Zoo at (414) 771-3040.
