"The Hills Are Alive with"... The Sound of Music in Theaters-10/26 last night!

The Sound of Music on the Big Screen!!!

The film has been newly restored (with a Blu-ray release on November 2^nd) and will include a sing-a-long! This is the first time in over 35 years that The Sound of Music will be back in theaters nationwide! 

You can find a theater near you at www.fathomevents.com/soundofmusic.  The only theater I found in the "Milwaukee Area" is in Kenosha.  Not  bad drive to see possibly this once in a lifetime movie on the big screen!

KT Tunstall CD Review

Remember the Grammy-nominated songs "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree," "Suddenly I See," Other Side of the World" or "Hold On" by KT Tunstall?  Well she has a new CD out called Tiger Suit!  Tiger Suit was released October 5th and her rollicking first single "Fade Like A Shadow" is a Top 20 hit on the radio. 
KT Tunstall is a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum, Scottish-born singer-songwriter.

KT Tunstall will be on tour this Fall (10/31-12/1)-

 On November 21st she will be in Chicago at the Vic Theatre.                

I  really thought this CD was great!  Usually when I listen to a CD there are a couple of songs that I always skip, I could not find one on Tiger Suit that I didn't like!  I do have a couple of favorite though-"Uummannaq Song" and "Come On, Get In" were my personal favorites.
I have been listening to the CD in the car and it has been the perfect CD to tool around with this fall.  It is fairly upbeat and easy to listen to.  I LOVE it!!! 

I must mention that the cover art really caught my eye-it is very plain but interesting-I really like that the only color is the title.  ALSO-I am a huge fan of companies using recycled products and not being wasteful-our CD did not come with a plastic case but in durable cardboard/stock and is printed on 60% recycled paper.

I think this CD would be a great addition to any music fan's collection!
