I really like email newsletters, if I don't find that particular one interesting I just delete it.  During the holidays I love to bake for friends and co-workers.  It really shows you care because you are taking YOUR TIME to make something from the heart!

Disney Live! Mickey's Rockin Road Show Coming to Milwaukee Theatre

Buy your tickets now for the Disney Live!  Mickey's Rockin' Road Show showing December 4 and December 5 at the Milwaukee Theatre.  Saturday, December 4 you can purchase tickets for the 1:00 or the 4:00 show.  Sunday, December 5 there is a 1:00 show.  You need a ticket for any child 2 or older.  Tickets range in price from $15.00 to $47.50.  Service, facility, and handling fees do apply.  Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster or by visiting the Milwaukee Theatre Box Office (this may be a way to save on some of those fees!)

Aurora Toys Review

We have been reviewing some great toys from Aurora Gifts!

We received the Aurora Paws Puppets, Aurora Fancy Pals The Original Toy Pet Carriers, and the Aurora My Aquarium. WOW are these items SOFT!  The first item we checked out was the Fancy Pals (Purple Cat above), it is super soft and very cute.  Ann's daughter loved that it came in a little carrier, she was pretending she was a veterinarian and having her brother be the client with the sick pet.  Of course you can't just bring a cat in-it needs to be in a carrier!

The My Aquarium set is really neat!  As you can see above the 4 animals are stitched with their species-a whale, seahorse, dolphin and fish.  They all make a sound too!  I love the labeling-it is promoting early reading skills!  They come in their own little soft aquarium (see below).  Very soft and very cute!  Ann's newborn and 1 year old love the My Aquarium-the sounds are great!  Her older kiddos like pretending they have an aquarium at home now!
 

My favorite is the Paw Puppets-these really promote pretend play and they are very soft and padded.  I use them at work in our dramatic play area.  They have also sparked many discussions about different types of animals.  The Paw Puppets are also warm!  We have taken them outside to continue our play-after all wild animals do not live indoors unless they are at the zoo.   (That was one of my kiddos arguments for being able to take them outside-how could I argue with that?!)

All of the Aurora Gifts we have the opportunity to review are well made and kid friendly-they are all super soft and fun to play with!
