Morton Safe T Pet Review and Giveaway ENDS 12/22/10 11:59pm
So my pup is not the most cooperative mutt in the bunch-he is cute though! Well I received a great review item the other week geared towards the benefit of humans and furry friends!
Morton Safe T Pet, Pet & People Friendly Ice Melt! I also received other goodies-2 dog treats, a warm Morton Salt blanket (I have been using it but my pup likes to snuggle with it as well as the cats), a doggie bag holder, a USB memory stick and a Morton bag for cold goods! (not pictured).
I was so excited when this arrived-I couldn't wait to use the Ice Melt-just had to wait for some snow-sorry if I wished on the cold weather too. :( We do worry about our pup and his paws in the winter-we use salt/ice melt on the driveway and walkway between shoveling and plowing and he has to walk out there and then come back in. Not only does he bring in stuff from outside but our shoes and boots track in the gunk from outside. We have 2 cats as well that then walk through the stuff we track in. Of course you can't keep your four legged friends from licking their paws but you don't want to have to worry about then getting sick from chemicals either!
We really like the Morton Safe T Pet, Pet & People Friendly Ice Melt-it takes care of the ice, I heard it crackling as I was spreading it! This ice melt is veterinarian recommended, non-toxic, salt free, safer for pets, plants, people & surfaces and melts below 15 degrees.
I received a 8 pound container and it spreads easily and I like that it is blue because I can easily see where I have already spread it!
I highly suggest checking for it at your local store! Not only is it great Ice Melt but you can worry a little less about your pets eating it!
