What an awesome date night for my husband and myself! We were able to go check out the production of The Christmas Music of Manheim Steamroller. It was really neat to watch the musicians on stage and have the awesome lighting effects throughout the show. Not only that, but they had a really cool video playing in the background and on the sides that complimented the music. If my children had come, I know they would have really enjoyed watching all the Christmas toys come to life and put themselves under the tree on the screen. I really enjoyed the production and the music was very calming and just enough to put you in the Christmas spirit all over again...all of my bah-humbugs drifted away as I was able to sit and enjoy the production without the worry of a Christmas list. I think we all need a night like this right before Christmas just to remind us to relax and enjoy the season a little more!
