Product Review: Great Harvest Bread Company

Betsy and I had the opportunity to try out some bread from Great Harvest Bread Company.

I began by going to the website (www.greatharvest.com) to take a look at what type of breads they offer and where I could find the nearest store, for us it was in downtown Elm Grove.

The person who helped me at the store was very knowledgeable.  She described the different types of breads they had available and offered some samples for me to try out.  I asked her for her recommendation, and after she made some, I settled on a spinach and asiago rollup, because Betsy likes asiago cheese.

So I got the bread home and cut it up for Betsy and I to enjoy.

From the above picture, you can see why it is called a rollup, there is spinach and asiago cheese spiraled throughout the bread.  The bread had a pleasing smell of asiago cheese, and the taste was very good as well, the spinach and asiago went together well as a flavor combo.  We had some of the bread the first day and finished it off the next morning, where it was still soft and delicious.

Great Harvest has many different bread options, I look forward to going back to try some others.  When I go back I also plan on picking up a package of the giant cookies they sell, because if cookies are good, giant cookies are even better.  I encourage you to give them a try.

I have to say that we love Great Harvest Bread... It is the closest that you can get to homebaked bread without doing it yourself and it is delicious. Oh, and don't forget the loyalty stamp card. It is one of those you get stamps for each loaf of bread you buy, then after so many, you get a free loaf of bread.
