Book Review: Sweet Pea The Bumble Bee

Just from the cover you know this book is going to be cute!  Sweet Pea The Bumble Bee: Spreading the buzz of the Holiday Season is very cute.  It is a very easy and short really perfect for the holidays.

One of the first things I thought when picking up this book to review was-how did they get Sweet Pea The Bumble Bee to put on these clothes and sit so nicely!  What a good dog!  Mine would not be so tolerant.

I like how each page is filled with color and a very inspirational saying on one page and a very cute correlating picture of Sweet Pea The Bumble Bee.

This book would be a great holiday coffee table book and decoration.  I had some family over this weekend for our last holiday gathering and I had the book on our table and our guests enjoyed it as well.  The kids liked the "cute dog" but the adults enjoyed the inspirational phrases.

Gabriel & Tiffany Corbett and Courtney Noelle have three other books starring Sweet Pea The Bumble Bee...

-Sweet Pea The Bumble Bee Beeing ExtraOrdinary
-Sweet Pea The Bumble Bee Let's Bee Friends Spreading the buzz of Friendship
-Sweet Pea The Bumble Bee What do you want to BeeCome? Spreading the buzz of dreaming big!

Kick Start Your New Years: Exercise Day Nine: Standing Rows

Day Eight Exercise:
Standing Rows
  • These are done from a standing position.
  • Loop a towel around a vertical pole or column or another fixed object so that the ends of the towel are pointing towards you and the towel is wrapped around the far side of the pole.
  • Have your feet close up to the pole and lean back gripping on the ends of the towel and keeping your body stiff and straight.
  • Row yourself up with both arms.
  • Keep your back arched and row with your back.

Rows are great for building those back muscles.   I love these because all you need is some kind of pole (I use my treadmill bar) and a towel!

Thanks, Fitstep.com!

Day Nine:  Easy Exercise Tip:

  •  You can really work on your lower body without anyone noticing by practicing leg bends under your desk. This is great if you're frequently on the phone or the computer and bored out of your skull. Simply unbend your knees and raise up your legs - hold the position for a few seconds and lower them back down. Try several repetitions of this throughout the day.
