So, my kids LOVE Thomas, Barney, and Kipper! I was so excited when I got a package from
Hit Entertainment to do a review on. In the package was three DVDs. The first DVD was
Thomas and Friends: The Birthday Express. This couldn't have come at a better time...my son will turn two on Thursday! So, I put it on and the kids all loved it. This came with a whistle that I cannot pry out of my four year old son's hands! I may have to make him watch more Thomas so he can learn some more important life lessons! The kids all loved this DVD and, so far, we have watched it three times - once a day! The second DVD I got was
Barney: I Can Do It! This DVD was super cute and was definitley a favorite for my soon to be two year old! It is hard to sit through endless episodes of Barney, but it's comforting to know that I can trust that Barney is age appropriate and always a good hit with the kids! My son is very musical, so he broke into dance about five times while watching it. I LOVE THAT! Also, my older kids grew up watching Barney, so they enjoyed singing along to his songs and they love that they "know" the characters! I especially loved that they discovered that cleaning up their room was part of being a big kid...can't drive that one home enough! The third DVD that we watched was
Sweet Dreams. I love these DVDs to help settle my kids...they really work! They loved seeing all of their favorite characters (Thomas, Barney, Bob the Builder, Angelina Ballerina, Kipper,...). This was a longer DVD that provides nice, teachable lessons about bedtime! My kids loved all of it and it settled them right in for a good night's sleep!
