Marilyn is Moving by Irene Agapion-Palamaris

What I really liked about this book was the colors and the illustration style. The book has a little rhyming pattern to it. I also enjoyed how the book solves the problem of how Marilyn is sad about moving. There is a glossary of terms regarding moving and the process-I learned a few things. :)

Tour de You: Swirling Circles of Freedom by K.C. Wilder, Ph.D
Very inspirational and positive. I liked how the book made you want to do your best. The pictures were neat as well. Based on bicycling-this book is a positive and thought provoking.

I'm Nobody: My Mother Said It; I No Longer Believe It By Erma Steppe

This memoir is sad but has an inspiring ending. Erma had a rough childhood but seemed determined to overcome and succeed in life. (Not for children.)

The Golden Staff Saga: The Pillar of Light by Christina Neely

A great book of adventure for teens. I asked a neighbor girl to read this. She said that she liked the constant movement and she felt like she was really in the story.

It's Time to Play Outside: 101 ways for your young child to enjoy independent fun under the sun.

I love books that I get ideas from for work! This book is chalk full fun activities for your child to enjoy outside throughout the year. The activities can be done alone or with a sibling or friends. This would be a perfect gift for a new family or a birthday party!
