Why we like All You magazine...

Not only can you find coupons in the newspaper, on products, and online but the All You magazine has at least $50 worth of coupons every month!  The All You Magazine can be found at Walmart or you can subscribe to it.
The coupons are pretty good too!  In the August issue there was a coupon for $1.00 off Scott Extra Soft Bath Tissue-8 pack, which you could double on a Wednesday at Pick N Save!  I spent $19.95 for my year long subscription (12 issues) which is about $1.66 per issue.  Each issue has saved me at least $3.00 on items I would have been purchasing anyway!
Not only does the magazine have great coupons but there are good articles and recipes!

FIXX Coffee House
I have driven past a few times and always wanted to stop-finally I did and boy am I glad!
I opted to use the drive through-there is not a menu free standing it is on the order window.
I partook in the Extreme Toffee iced beverage-YUM!
You can go inside and relax as well, I am planning on stopping in and reading while enjoying another beverage before school starts.
I received a coffee card when I purchased my drink-it is a punch card-I am drinking my way to a free beverage!
As I was checking out the website it looks like they also have entertainment (live music) and they also offer personals!

Pay it Forward with Freebies...

I love freebies!
I really sign up for almost every single one I see.
I do not use all of them BUT they do get used.
When I receive a freebie in the mail I tear into it right away-I am always excited to see what I received.
If it is something I am going to use, I put it away.
If it is something my sister or mom will use then it goes in the bag of stuff I always seem to have waiting for them the next time I see them.
If it is something I am not going to use and don't know who needs it - the "freebie box" is it's home.

My freebie box is a box that comes out when we have friends over.  When they are leaving for the night, they pick what they want to try and have a safe ride home with their goodies!

The next day I look through what remains and pack it up to donate!  There are usually a few nice items-maybe a diaper, adult incontinence items, feminine hygiene products, shampoos and perfume samples.  You never know.

When I have taken in just the samples I have received the "donation taker" has made mention that these are great sizes as they are easy to store and are great for one or two uses.

Sample sizes are also perfect for military care packages!

I recently chatted with a friend and his wife does the same thing!  We haven't seen them in a while, but it is nice to know that freebies are helping other families Pay it Forward as well!


Does your child's school have a donation drive every year?  Maybe your workplace does a collection for an organization.  Start signing up for freebies and you will have a great donation when the time comes!

Catch Anchorman TONIGHT at Fish Fry & a Flick

The 2011 Point Fish Fry and a Flick is back at Discovery World!  Fish Fry and a Flick is run on select Fridays throughout August and September.  Catch free outdoor movies on the big screen.  All events start at 5 PM and movies start at dusk.  This week's movie is Anchorman with Will Ferrell.  The movies are not kid friendly, but it would make for a great date night.  Click on this link to get all the information...I love this idea!
