Pay it Forward at Culver's

"Join us on Tuesday, November 22 as participating Culver's Restaurants of Southeastern WI partner with Kapco Metal Stamping to donate10% of sales. Funds will be used to purchase toys for underprivileged youth and will be donated to the Salvation Army to give local children in need as happy a Holiday as possible.
There will also be a Culver's Toy Drive held from November 21 - December 15. Toys need to be unwrapped so they can be distributed to families in the Milwaukee area.
Please come enjoy a delicious meal, benefit a great cause and feel good all over!"

Here are some tips to help with your Black Friday Shopping Experience
-A great online tip is to check out Amazon.com
The price wars between Walmart, Target, and Amazon are always strong and Amazon is matching and beating many deals while providing free shipping so check online before you shop.
-Make your list before you go shopping.
-Leave as early as possible in the morning and try to get done by noon.
-Make an attack plan for the day with achievable goals.
-Plan that the roads to the mall will be busier.
-Wear shoes that are comfortable and will last a long day in busy lines.
-Bring some snacks with you in case you find yourself in a large line.
-Don’t forget your coupons at home!
-A cheap ticket price can often mean a cheap quality product. Spend some time researching products you may want to buy.
If you can’t find something that you want or miss out on a deal do not stress...there is still Cyber Monday...and a month until Christmas!

Chex Cereal Printable Coupon and Chex Mix Recipe

I was planning on making some Chex Mix to bring over to my mother in laws for a birthday party.  I may just eat it all before we make it there! Print this new coupon available now for $1.00/2 Chex Cereals!

Here’s a recipe for the Original Party Chex Mix:
Ingredients
3 cups Corn Chex cereal
3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Wheat Chex cereal
1 cup mixed nuts
1 cup bite-size pretzels
1 cup garlic-flavor bite-size bagel chips or regular-size bagel chips, broken into 1-inch pieces
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Did You Know?
The original recipe includes Corn Chex, Rice Chex and Wheat Chex. You can mix and match to suit your taste—just use a total of 9 cups of cereal.

Health Focus
To reduce the fat to 2 grams and the calories to 80 per serving, use 3 tablespoons margarine instead of the 6 tablespoons butter, omit mixed nuts and use fat-free bagel chips.

Preparation Directions
 In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips; set aside. In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in seasonings. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 6 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.
Oven Directions Heat oven to 250°F. In large bowl, mix cereals, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips; set aside. In ungreased large roasting pan, melt butter in oven. Stir in seasonings. Gradually stir in cereal mixture until evenly coated. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool, about 15 minutes. Store in airtight container.
