We had the chance to try out one of Gorton's Grilled Fillet products. We picked up the Garlic Butter flavor.
The package contains two fillets, which are very easy to prepare. When you remove them from the inner wrapping you can smell the garlic that they have on them. You just place them in a baking dish and put them in the oven.
As they cook the sauce melts off the fillets and coats them with a creamy garlic butter goodness.
While you could eat them with tartar sauce if you choose, they are great on their own as they have plenty of flavor in/on them. We served ours with some some sliced and roasted portobella mushrooms and some cheese and broccoli rice.
Everything tasted great, the fish was tender and flaky, just the way it should be. Since it is so easy to prepare, it is a good option when you need a quick dinner or as an alternative to fish sticks for those upcoming friday night fish dinners. I know that we will be having it again over the next few weeks, and I suggest you should try it out as well.
