I purchased a daily deal (Groupon) for the Great Lakes Distillery tour for four people (no longer available). If you like tours and are a fan of distilled beverages we would suggest checking it out! While you are waiting for the tour to begin you are in the bar area of Great Lakes Distillery, the tour is then announced and you head downstairs where the tour guide takes you into the distillery and tells you about the distilling process and some history behind distilling and about the owner of Great Lakes Distillery. This is a local company so it is pretty neat. After the tour you can partake in a tasting of some of the products, they explain what each one is and you get a little bit of each. The guide also tells you about the flavors and a little about the process and history of the beverages. There is water to clear your palate as well as pretzels. :) We went with a couple friends, this is certainly an adult activity.
Tours are $5 this includes the tasting at the end. :)
