Starting July 12th-August 4th The Walgreens Way to Well Heath Tour with AARP is coming to the Milwaukee Area.  The Walgreens Way to Well Heath Tour with AARP is a community outreach program that will be providing free health tests which include checking: Cholestrerol, Glucose, Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index, Body Composition, Skeletal Muscle, Resting Metabolism, Visceral Fat, and Real Body Age. It is a charitable part of the Walgreens Way to Well Commitment. These tests are valued at over $100 and take about 20 minutes to complete.  If you are 18 or older you are encouraged to attend, no appointments are necessary and no insurance is either.  Of course you will need to know where to go, check out www.walgreens.com/waytowell to find the stop closest to you!

Walgreens Way to Well Heath Tour with AARP wants to provide you with free health tests and educational materials, they are providing this national mobile tour and they are focusing on prevention and early detection of heart disease, diabetes and cancer.

Did you know that every time you purchase a Walgreens brand health and wellness product through January 31st, 2013 1 cent from every purchase will go towards the Way to Well Health Tour, so it is partially funded by Walgreen customers.  Through these purchases Walgreens will be giving up to $3 million to the project.

What can you do to help our community?  Go and get your free health tests, if you have already gone and had these tests done maybe it is time to make sure your family members, friends and neighbors have as well, after all they are part of your community and you don't want anything to happen to them.  You can also share this information at work with your co-workers, tell any groups that you are involved it about it, you could post the information at local community centers or libraries (make sure you ask for permission first).  This is information that can benefit everyone.  By spreading the word you are helping to Pay it Forward to your/our community and we will all be better and healthier for it!
