Fun activity for your little ones...

Do you have a little one around that is super active and sometimes you just need a few minutes to take a breather and have them entertain themselves?  Really?  You do? :)  I have Niecey around this summer, she is  just the cutest bundle of energy but I have to do other things too sometimes.  Here is something fun we just discovered...
You will need:

•  a roll of contact paper/sticky self liner 
• masking tape or painters tape, something that will not leave a residue after you take it off
• an active kiddo
• a clean spot on a floor that is not carpeted

I found clear shelf liner/contact paper for $5.50 at Target, this will last me a while as I am only using a piece that is about 2x3 each time.  You can make it bigger if you would like. :)  

Place your contact paper sticky side up on the floor and tape the edges down, I taped all the way around because Niecey was trying to pick it up.  Now let them explore!  Niecey loved just walking on it, she was certainly working on her balance because her little feet were sticking and she was having to balance to stay on her feet.  It was hilarious!  I have expanded this and laminated some pieces, I will be sharing  my additional ideas for those too! :)
