I was lucky enough to be able to see Mickey's Music Festival at the Milwaukee Theatre last night. What a treat it was! My children all loved it...all ages 2 to 7. It is mostly geared towards the younger side of my clan, but my older two had a blast...and, so did I! I caught myself singing along to a few of my favorite tunes from the classics. My daughter's favorite princess, Ariel made an appearance and my daughter almost jumped out of her seat! My sons loved seeing their favorite cowboy and space ranger as well! Just a cute performance. Definitely a good time for the whole family! The songs were well delivered and the cast was top-notch! I love any show that gets my children out of their seats singing along...and this does just that! My two year old loved being able to jump around on my lap, clapping his hands, and laughing along the majority of the time. I have to warn, though, that there are some dark scenes that did scare him a bit. But, nothing major...just needed a little reassuring and he was fine. It might have been because he was overtired, too. Overall this is a great show!
