I was given the opportunity to review
LEGO KidsFest and took my two oldest children along with my husband. It was a blast! There was a lot to do and each of my children had a favorite section that they enjoyed building in.
There is a "Lego Friends" section that has tons of building opportunities. My daughter built her little house. This is a favorite with the girls that are there, so you may want to watch the crowds there as your little one might be a little shy about going. I took my daughter (who's 6) and she built there for about fifteen minutes. There were some girls who were there for quite a while and had built up quite a little village for themselves to play in.
My son enjoyed the Ninjago Lego area. He battled it out with his sister and got a cool poster at the end! There was seriously so much to see and do there and the crowds weren't too unbearable. I enjoyed checking out the brick pile and letting the kids build from the huge selection of Legos. There were TONS of Legos (all different colors, sizes, and styles) and the kids loved running all over them and finding what they needed to complete their masterpieces! I couldn't help but think that you know a toy is well made if children can run all over them and not worry about them breaking...not to mention a whole group of kids running all over them! If your child is a Lego fan, I can guarantee they will leave here with a smile on their face. I was impressed that there were some great centers that were well-organized with workers who were great with kids! There was plenty to do for kids (and adults for that matter) of all ages and catered to both boys and girls!
Oh, and for all you cleaners out there...I have to mention that Bissell was there showing how successful their product the
BISSELL Perfect Sweep Turbo Cordless Rechargeable Sweeper, 2880A
was at picking up Legos. I have to admit...I was very impressed! My daughter had a great time sweeping up the Lego "mess" she made as we were leaving!
