Elf Magic: A Timeless Christmas Tradition Review

So, my children got Wilder for Christmas last year.  They wrote Santa a letter and asked that he send an elf to come visit and stay with us until Christmas.  The elf came last year right after Thanksgiving and this year he did much the same!  Wilder has visited us on and off throughout the year for special occasions, like birthdays and Easter.  The kids just love him.  Well, as you can imagine, when you have more than one child, there tends to be a bit of arguing that goes on between siblings about who gets to hold him or who gets to play with him.  I love that they love him so much, but get a little stressed listening to them bicker.  So, my daughter thought she would write to Santa again this year asking that he send Wilder's sister if she wasn't too busy in the North Pole this time of year.  She was thrilled the next morning when she awoke to find this!

The great thing about Elf Magic is that these elves are not only little friends that have an in with Santa, but they are also great friends for my children! Every night we leave out ice to remind them of the cold in the North Pole and crunched up crackers to remind them of the sound their little feet make in the snow. We sprinkle them with North Pole Flakes each and every night. This all energizes them for their night of Elfcapades.  What are Elfcapades?  Elfcapades are the little adventures that happen at night when we are asleep.  For instance, last year, Wilder cleaned up the living room.  One night we found him drinking milk in the refrigerator.  Oh, and so much more!  Every night there seems to be a new adventure that they find themselves in.  The kids love looking for him!  Now, there's two of them.  So, double the trouble!  Last night we found Daphne building with Legos.

After we found Daphne, there was a mission to find Wilder...and there he was enjoying a ride in the fire truck with his buddy Woody.  So much fun!

The kids love finding all the fun things that they do at night and oftentimes awake with notes written to them from their little elves.  Stay tuned for more fun and exciting adventures that we have with these magical friends!
