I was lucky enough to be chosen to host a Mega Bloks Barbie Party. I was so happy to be chosen as I have a daughter who just loves Barbie and she loves building things, so I knew this would be a win/win combination! For this party we received 1 Mega Bloks® Barbie® Build 'n Style Luxury Mansion, 1 Mega Bloks® Barbie® Build 'n Style Pool Party, and enough accessories so that each girl invited was able to take one of the accessories home as a gift. I have to be honest and say that I did enjoy the party and so did the girls, but it was a lot of work and we simply didn't have enough time to get it all done in one party. It is a work in progress. 

 My daughter is 7 and her friends were 8. I wanted to see how they faired being given the instructions and allowing them to do it all themselves. I was impressed. They did get a lot done and were able to read everything and understand it all without my chiming in. I think any younger and your child will definitely need help, but this worked out well with these girls.  As you can see by the picture, the directions are very easy for your daughter to follow along.  I loved hearing all the discussions and how much teamwork went into all the planning.  

They took turns breaking up tasks and working on different tasks.  We focused on the Mansion for this party because the girls got so consumed in this that we didn't get a chance to work on the pool party.  However, we did take it out of the box and it is still being worked on.

They decided to break up this mansion into separate rooms that they would each get to work on.  As I said the talking through and the teamwork was incredible.  I highly recommend doing something like this for a themed party with multiple girls.

This was my daughters favorite part...having all the pieces fit together and the end product is within reach!

We are still not finished with the mansion, however, it is easy enough to complete in one evening if time allots and your child has patience for it!  I think the quality is great and am so happy that Mega Bloks is working with Barbie for such a fun experience for the girls.  

The girls were so proud of all that they were able to do in only two hours.  I was proud of them for being able to follow the directions and working together to reach a goal.

The Mega Bloks - Barbie - Build 'n Style Fashion Stand was a favorite of all the girls at the party.   It was cute and super easy to put together...my daughter did hers one evening after returning home from school.
