Beloved author Mercer Mayer and Little Critter are participating for the first time this year in the Association of American Publisher’s (AAP) national “Get Caught Reading” celebrity poster campaign.  Created to inspire a love of reading in people of all ages, Mercer Mayer appears in a poster together with Little Critter as they are “caught reading” an original copy of the book, Little Critter’s The Trip, celebrating the print edition’s transition into Silver Dolphin Books award-winning app, The Trip – Little Critter Reading Adventure.
Posters are made available to teachers and parents for use in classrooms, libraries and other locations throughout the country. All posters are free, but the AAP asks that you pay $5.00 per set for shipping & handling, whether you order one poster or 12. A set is defined as any number of posters that you order between one and 12! Posters can be ordered here!

Make sure your children are ready for school and retain what they learned throughout the school year with the Milwaukee Public Library Super Reader Summer Reading Program.  Your child can earn prizes while reading all summer long!  Sign up today!  This program runs through August 29.  Click here to learn more about the program.

Sign up for the Super Reader program starting Monday, May 13.

When you sign up, the librarian will give you a reading folder to track the number of minutes you read to yourself or when someone reads to you. For each hour of reading, fill in a clock inside the folder.

Check in with your librarian to get your folder officially stamped.

Each time you complete a level, show your librarian and receive a prize!

Super Reader Prizes
