Exercise Day Twenty Seven:  Easy Stair Tap Up
  • 1. Step up on the stair with the right foot.
  • 2. Step up and tap the stair with your left foot.
  • 3. Step back down with your left foot.
  • 4. Step down with your right foot.
This is just the simple tap up and you are going to want to repeat this alternating which foot to lead with for a good ten minutes or more, if you can handle it.  I always feel like any exercise that can be done on the stairs is golden because it works so much more than just basic floor exercises with the use of so many more muscles with each step.  Which leads me into my easy exercise tip for the day...USE THE STAIRS as much as possible.  Last night as I was putting away my groceries (double coupon Wednesday at Pick N Save!) I needed to put things in the freezer downstairs.  I took a trip down with each item I needed to store.  So, instead of making one big trip, I took eleven trips up and down those stairs...a great way to burn extra calories!
