Outpost is a Co-op-you can join for a Full Share which is $200 or pay $25 per year to build equity each year. If you choose the Full Share you will also receive a three pack of Now Designs dishtowels! Whenever I step into an Outpost I feel healthier-corny I know but I know that I will be able to find the freshest and healthiest options in every area of the store, they are also very organized and friendly! I love that Outpost supports local farmers, I know that the items are organically grown and local, which also means that they are arriving at the store fresher!


Outpost also supports Fair Trade products-Fair Trade means that the products that you are purchasing that are produced are being made or grown by farmers or producers that are getting paid fairly for their goods. This is important as many times goods that are made elsewhere are sold to use inexpensively or expensively and the people who produce them are paid pennies compared to what the consumer is charged.

Another excellent bonus to Outpost is their all natural approach is also VERY allergy conscious!  They offer vegan, gluten free, wheat free, dairy free...you name it they might have it!  This does not only apply to the products on the shelves-stop by the bakery and they have special menus if you are looking to shop ahead for an event!  Birthday cakes can be customized!

The head of the departments in the store also really know their stuff!  My husband actually worked in the cheese department during college-you wouldn't believe his cheese knowledge!  We still go to Outpost for their fresh mozzarella-he says the Outpost mozzarella is the BEST!
