Have you been to the Kalahari Resorts in Wisconsin Dells? I was there briefly for a conference and only stayed one night and was literally there only to sleep. :(
I have heard that the amenities are fantastic, there is a beautiful indoor and outdoor water area:

It is fun year round and is close to many Wisconsin Dells attractions. If you go during the off season there is certainly plenty to keep you busy in the resort alone.
