GREAT NEWS! We have set up our first coupon swap! There have been many readers who have been asking about certain coupons. It appears as though some areas do not get the coupon inserts in the mail. We are both fortunate enough to get the inserts in the mail. We have decided that a good way to get those coupons that you are looking for into your hands is to hold a coupon swap! What is a coupon swap you ask?
A coupon swap is a place for you to bring all those coupons that you get and have no need for and trade them to get coupons that you do need!
Everyone is welcome to attend free of charge. You don't have to be a mommy. You don't even have to be a woman :) We don't descriminate...if you love couponing and are looking for some coupons...please come! We just ask that you bring your coupons to swap, to ensure that we have plenty of coupons to choose from! Bring in your expired coupons as well as we can send those in to the Military.
We would love to meet you. YOU are what makes our website so successful!
This will be very informal. It will be our first, of many (hopefully!) coupon swaps.
We have chosen to host this one at the New Berlin Public Library. Why there? Well, we had tons of interest and it seems this area is the most central for those of you who filled out our interest form. Also, for those of you bringing children...there will be books for your young ones to look at while we are busy meeting and swapping!
The New Berlin Library is having an awesome food drive right now as well. All donations will be donated to the New Berlin Food Drive. We would love if you could show them some love and bring one (or many) nonperishable food items. Just bring them along with you when you come and we will make sure they get into the right hands!
The coupon swap will begin promptly at 2:00. The person that brings the most nonperishable food items will get to "swap" first. The swapping will begin at around 2:20 after introductions and sorting of coupons is completed. If you could please RSVP by sending us an email to mymkemommy@gmail.com just so that we can have a rough idea of how many will be attending.
It will be held August 20 from 2:00 - 3:30 (or later if needed)
