Red Gold Canned Tomatoes - Pasta Skillet

Betsy and I had the opportunity to try out several varieties of Red Gold Canned Tomatoes.  There are many different flavor options to choose from, which allow you to create any number of potential meals.

We had a 14.5oz can of Red Gold Diced Tomatoes with Basil, Garlic, and Oregano.



So I decided to make my famous pasta skillet, well it's famous in my house anyway.  It's a meal I like to make because it is pretty versatile, and if you drink milk with it you cover all your food groups.  It includes meat, pasta, and veggies.  This time I used some beef kielbasa, mushrooms, green pepper, onion, wheat pasta, and of course the Red Gold Canned Tomatoes.



Start out by making your pasta of choice, cutting up whatever veggies and meat you are using, and draining your can of Red Gold Tomatoes.  I heated some oil in the pan and started cooking the veggies.


Once they are slightly softened, I add the meat to the pan.


Once the meat is heated I add the Red Gold Tomatoes to the pan.


After everything is heated, I add the cooked pasta to the pan, and mix everything up.


Then you just serve it on a plate and enjoy.


The flavor combinations are always great when I make this, especially the Basil, Garlic, and Oregano that's in the Red Gold Tomatoes.  I make this when I am looking for something quick and flavorful.
