Betsy and I had the opportunity to try out Nature's Path Love Crunch Premium Organic Granola. We received two different kinds, Carrot Cake and Aloha Blend.
The bags have the USDA Organic seal, which guarantees that the product was grown without chemical herbicides or pesticides, or synthetic preservatives and additives. The bags also contain the Non-GMO project verification seal, which assures that the food you are buying is made in a kitchen - not in a lab. The granola also has 15g or more of whole grains per serving.
The back of the bags also mention the $1 million of food bank love. For every bag of Love Crunch you buy, the company will donate an equal amount to food banks in food or cash, up to $1 million.
Now onto how they taste...
I will start with the Carrot Cake.
I am a big fan of carrot cake, and when you open the bag you are greeted with the aroma of a delicious carrot cake. The carrot cake granola includes, granola clusters, raisins, pecans, yogurt, carrots, and pineapple.
The granola is crunchy and has a hint of cinnamon flavor and is dotted with flecks of carrots. The raisins are plump and juicy and the pecans add additional crunch and texture. The yogurt chips will melt in your mouth while the freeze-dried pineapple adds a layer of sweetness to the collection of flavors.
The other kind we got to try was the Aloha Blend.
The aroma of this collection is fresh and reminds me of summer. The Aloha Blend includes granola clusters, coconut, white chocolate chunks, and pineapple.
The granola clusters are crunchy and along with the freeze-dried pineapple add sweetness to the mix. The dried coconut flakes are pretty wide and provide an additional texture to the collection. The white chocolate chunks will melt in your mouth and add that creamy aspect to the mixture.
We enjoyed both packages of the Nature's Path Love Crunch Premium Organic Granola very much. I have been eating them for breakfast as I drive to work every morning. They would also work well as a take along snack for yourself or the kids as you head out to run errands or visit various attractions around town. So pick some up if you have a chance.
