Betsy and I had the chance to try out Domino's new Artisan Pizza - The Chicken & Bacon Carbonara.
The $7.99 pizza is 13" x 9" and comes in a box signed by your Domino's stores manager, ours was Tammy.
The Chicken & Bacon Carbonara Artisan Pizza is a blend of marinara and alfredo sauces, grilled chicken breast, bacon, cheese, diced tomatoes and a dash of oregano all on an artisan-style crust. What does all of that mean? It means combined they create a pizza that looks delicious and smells like bacon, and bacon makes everything better.
The sauce was creamy and tangy, the chicken was moist and the bacon was cooked to perfection. The crust is crispy and ends up with plenty of those coveted air bubbles. We have tried the other Artisan Pizza's, which are also very good, but this one is my new favorite, I would definitely have it again.
So the next time you are in the mood for a fancier delivery pizza order a Domino's Artisan Pizza and grab yourself a slice.
