Betsy and I had the chance to try out the new frozen burger patties from Ball Park...available in your grocers freezer section (I've always wanted to say that).
They come in 3 flavors, original (which we got), cheese, and onion. There are six 3 ounce frozen patties in the bag and they couldn't be easier to make. You can also see the grill marks on the patty.
You can cook them from frozen in a skillet or on the grill, but they are designed to be made in the microwave. Just put one on a microwave safe plate and cover with a paper towel, then cook them for about 75 seconds, and you end up with this.
The burgers turned out very juicy and are done to a medium-well level. Betsy and I each built our own burger. Betsy used some cheese, salad, and ranch dressing, with some sweet potato fries.
I toasted my bun and made mine with cheese, onions, bacon, and bbq sauce, and had some chips on the side.
We both enjoyed them very much. They would be great to keep around when you need a quick dinner or for a weekend lunch. You could also take them to stadium and throw them on the grill to enjoy at your next tailgating event. I look forward to trying out the other flavors.
