TITANIC: THE MUSICAL COMES TO MILWAUKEE

TONY AWARD® WINNER:
BEST MUSICAL, BEST BOOK, AND BEST SCORE

MILWAUKEE – (August 20, 2012) – “TITANIC: The Musical,” winner of five Tony Awards®, is coming to the Milwaukee Theatre for two performances October 12th and 13th at 8 P.M. both nights. Tickets will be on sale Friday, September 7, 2012.
Tickets start at $38 and can be purchased online at milwaukeetheatre.com via ticketmaster.com or at the Milwaukee Theatre box office (500 W. Kilbourn Ave. Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Convenience fees may apply.
“TITANIC: The Musical” tells the unique story of the passengers and crew aboard the “unsinkable” ocean liner as they reenact their last few days aboard the pride of the White Star fleet. The musical shares the struggles between the different classes of passengers on the ship; from the dreams of the third class immigrants to start a better life in America, to the second class dream of achieving the status of the infamous first class. In the year of the 100thanniversary of the sinking of the legendary ship, the musical outlines what went wrong on the allegedly indestructible ship that led to its unpredictable end.
In addition to winning the 1997 Tony Award® for Best Musical, book writer Peter Stone and Maury Yeston won the Tony Awards® for Best Book and Best Score for “TITANIC: The Musical”.
