We travel a lot in the summer. This summer so far we have gone to Wisconsin Dells and up north to spend time on my dad's land. We also do a lot around the Milwaukee area. Definitely looking forward to the many festivals!
I was lucky enough to get a Balance Bar Summer Travel Pack which included a variance of Balance Bars, a travel journal, and a travel cooler. I have to say how much I love the bars. They are all very good...I especially like the chocolate Balance Bars! YUM YUM YUM! I was able to eat these and they gave me that little push I needed to get me through to the next meal.

On our last trip up north, I found myself with some down time after packing up the van and waiting for the family to get back from breakfast and a little exploration. What did I do? I did some squats and lunges while waiting. I get this itch that I don't like to burn away any time, so I did a set of 50 squats and only got in about 15 lunges before the family returned.

Take healthy snacks so we are not tempted by the really sweet sinful ones.
I pack a cooler with veggies and fruit and juice boxes.
We also pack healthy snacks so we don't have to rely on convenience store foods.
I still try to exercise.
I try to get in some exercise each day.

I make sure to set aside time to exercise either in the gym or outdoor activities.
