Mark your Calendar for some FREE family fun! Check out Maker Faire Milwaukee September 27 and 28 at Wisconsin State Fair Park!
Maker Faire Milwaukee is part science fair, part county fair, and part something new! Known as the "Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth," Maker Faire is a family-friendly event that welcomes makers to exhibit their work, and share their knowledge and skills with other makers and with the community. Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to artists to scientists to garage tinkerers and hobbyists, of all ages and backgrounds. The aim of Maker Faire is to entertain, inform, connect and grow the maker community.
- More than 150 makers who will demonstrate 3D printing, microcomputers, robotics, lasers, large-scale art, alternative energy, blacksmithing, indie crafts, and more
- Hands-on instructional workshops and activity areas for visitors of all ages and interests
- A Power Racing Series competition (adults racing kids cars!)
- FREE admission (some activities or attractions may require a fee)
…And so much more!
This will be the first-ever Maker Faire Milwaukee. It's co-hosted by the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum and Milwaukee Makerspace, in collaboration with MAKE magazine, and sponsored by Brady Corporation. The free event will be held at Wisconsin State Fair Park on the same weekend as the Park’s annual Harvest Fair.
