It's hard to believe, but the Wisconsin State Fair is only a couple of weeks away! It can get expensive, so my family is always looking for ways to save money. Here's a roundup of some of the deals you can score at the Fair to make it more affordable!
August 6: Wells Fargo $2 Day Benefiting Hunger Task Force
Get into the Fair for just $2 before 4 pm when you donate at least two (2) non-perishable food items or make a cash donation outside any Fair admission entrance. Stop by Central Park to get your picture taken on the official Wells Fargo stagecoach and learn about the Hunger Task Force Farm!
August 7: Celebrate Wisconsin Day
Visiting Wisconsin? Buy two (2) adult admissions (age 12 & over) for ONLY $12 when you present your out-of-state ID at any Fair ticket window. Also, look for a special offer from Potawatomi Hotel and Casino at the ticket windows.
August 10: Family Value Day
Families save big during Kohl’s Family Value Day, Monday, August 10 at the Wisconsin State Fair. ALL Fairgoers will be eligible for discounted Fair admission from 8am – 6pm thanks to a partnership with Kohl’s. Adults will receive $5 admission (a 60% savings) and youth 11 and under will receive FREE admission.
August 12: Meijer Day
Visit Central Park to learn more about Meijer’s unique offerings including fresh produce and meat departments, pharmacies, apparel, garden centers and electronics. Join us for FREE samples of Meijer products, demonstrations and giveaways. Save $4 on ONE adult gate admission ticket via Custom Coupon when you spend $10 or more at select new Meijer stores between July 26 – August 12.
August 14: Patrick Cudahy Day
Say HEY to Patrick Cudahy! Join us and taste Patrick Cudahy Sweet Apple-Wood bacon and deli meat products along with unique recipes during our special sampling hours in Central Park. Come enjoy the day and Say HEY to Wisconsin’s favorite bacon, Patrick Cudahy!
State Fair Bargain Book
Take advantage of HUGE savings with the State Fair Bargain Book, featuring 68 coupons from Fair Partners. Get discounts on food, beverages, gifts, souvenirs and more. Pick up a Bargain Books before the Fair and save 25%! $3 Bargain Books are available at Wisconsin Bank Mutual Bank Offices through July 31 and at the State Fair Ticket Office and online at WiStateFair.com (service fee applies) through August 5.
$4 Bargain Books will be available during the 2015 State Fair at all Fair Information Centers presented by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
August 11: Crazy Grazin’ Day
Come hungry and sample a variety of Fair foods available at more than 50 food vendors who offer smaller sizes of your favorite items at reduced prices! Pick up a Crazy Grazin’ brochure at any Fair Information Center presented by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and look for posters displayed at participating vendors.
August 16: Miller High Life Veterans and Military Recognition Day
Activities will take place all day in Central Park! Don’t miss a special military program at the Bank Mutual Amphitheater at 11 am. Veterans, Military personnel and up to three (3) family members will receive FREE admission to the Fair with proper ID.
SpinCity Deals
Save by purchasing a 40 Ticket Sheet for only $30, Ride-All-Day Wristbands for $35 (does not include games) or take advantage of one of three great deals for SpinCity in the State Fair Bargain Book, available for $4 at any Fair Information Center.
Official Wisconsin State Fair Souvenir Cups
Get the official Wisconsin State Fair Souvenir Cup at more than 90 vendor locations throughout the Fair Park. This Fair-themed 32 oz. cup is filled with your favorite Coca-Cola product for only $5 and refills are just $2 at any participating vendor. Look for Souvenir Cup posters at participating vendors.
