Last year my husband and I thought we would search for something different to do on New Years Eve-well he found this and it happens every year! In Plymouth, WI you can watch the Big Cheese Drop! It was fun-don't worry if you can't find the big cheese right away, just look for the fire engine around 11:45pm.
It was fun, there are a lot of people and it is loud and really neat! Last year was FREEZING! It should be a lot nicer this year. It was definitely a trip to take at least once in your lifetime. If you want to get there earlier there are a couple of bars around there so you could make a little night out of it! FYI-the cheese does not drop, it lowers as it is pretty big.
