Kick Start Your New Years: Exercise Day Sixteen: Full Vertical Crunch

Day 16:
Full Vertical Crunch:

  • Lie on your back and extend the legs up towards the ceiling.
  • Place hands behind your head (lightly cupping it) and contract the abs to lift the shoulder blades off the floor.
  • At the same time, press the heels towards the ceiling, creating a 'u' shape with the torso.
  • Lower down and repeat for 12-16 reps.

Easy Exercise Tip:
  • While sorting laundry, get some great exercise in!  While you are putting the laundry in piles, do one squat for each piece of laundry being sorted.  I hate doing laundry, but when I try to make some sort of game out of it, it makes it so much less dreadful!
