Betsy and I had the opportunity to review No Name Superb & Simple frozen chicken breasts.  You may know No Name for their fantastic steaks, but they have added chicken and salmon to their arsenal as well.

We picked out the Pecan Crusted Chicken Breasts.

The box includes two 6 oz chicken breasts.  I decided to make them in the oven, which can be done with the chicken either frozen or thawed, you can also grill them, which should be done with the chicken thawed of course.  They are super simple to prepare, just put in a baking pan and pop in the oven for the required amount of time.  Making sure to check the temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure they are done.

The pecan crust ended up adding a great crunchy texture to the moist chicken.  The crust itself had a nice nutty flavor that delivered a slight spicy kick as well.  The cover of the box suggests serving them with some pasta and corn, I decided to serve it with some braised carrots, roasted asparagus, and stuffing.

These are easy to make and wonderful to eat, I am looking forward to having it again.  Enjoy.
We picked these up at Pick n Save and are around $7.00.  Well worth the price!
