How Fun! Time to get in the Christmas spirit...and I can't think of much of a better way :)
Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery and Mader’s Restaurant have partnered to create an authentic German Christkindlmarket to run from Thursday, November 20th through Sunday, November 23rd in downtown Milwaukee, admission is free.
Market Dates and Times:
Thursday, November 20, 2014: 4pm - 10pm
Friday, November 21, 2014: 4pm - 10pm
Saturday, November 22, 2014: 11am - 10pm
Sunday, November 23, 2014: 10am - 5pm

The event will be held at Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery located at 901 W. Juneau Ave. The
unique layout of Best Place allows for authentic events to take place both indoors and outdoors.
Planned entertainment includes German dancers, Peggy Mueller & Friends (music), and live radio all entertaining our guests with seasonally inspired music. Also, enjoy the Mardi Gras Society of Milwaukee from 1:00pm to 4:00pm featuring Rheinischer Verein Gruen - Weiss. Vendors will be serving a variety of German food & beverages such as schnitzel, sauerbraten, strudel, bratwursts, potato pancakes, pretzels, soups, roasted nuts, stollen, hot chocolate & Gluhwein (hot spiced wine). Of course, there will an assortment German beer especially Spaten & Sprecher varieties.
Over 15 vendors will be on hand selling items such as; steins, Hummel figurines, Christmas ornaments, imported German chocolate candies, cookies, gingerbreads, marzipan, Advent calendars, hand-sewn clothing, spices, cheeses and wreaths. The Best Place gift shop will be open with a selection of merchandise including shirts, hats, collectables, ornaments and more.
Visit with Father Christmas daily and enjoy breakfast with him on Sunday after a Mass which starts at 10:00am. Sit with costumed storytellers, decorate cookies, and join in on tree-lighting and keg-tapping ceremonies. Take a picture with the statues of Captain Frederick Pabst and King Gambrinus, the Patron Saint of beer. If you wish, please bring a non-perishable food item for the Hunger Task Force.
