My daughter and my oldest son love The Wizard of Oz! So, when I was given the opportunity to review a new version of L. Frank Baum's "The Wizard of Oz", I was really excited! It is published by Silver Dolphin Books . This book is so unique with it's Pop-ups and Sounds. Paul Hess' illustrations are very impressive. The sound effects used fit the pictures and the story perfectly. I was able to read this to my 5 year old and 4 year old (the two biggest Wizard of Oz fans I know!). I just love how interactive this book is! My 18 month old even climbed on my lap to see what all the fuss was about and he LOVEd it! Needless to say, this book impressed me. Children love anything interactive. These books are awesome with their pop ups and sounds...a genius idea!
I am a push over for a good children's book, especially if it is educational, so I just had to check out what other books Silver Dolphin Books had available.
