I love freebies!
I really sign up for almost every single one I see.
I do not use all of them BUT they do get used.
When I receive a freebie in the mail I tear into it right away-I am always excited to see what I received.
If it is something I am going to use, I put it away.
If it is something my sister or mom will use then it goes in the bag of stuff I always seem to have waiting for them the next time I see them.
If it is something I am not going to use and don't know who needs it - the "freebie box" is it's home.
My freebie box is a box that comes out when we have friends over. When they are leaving for the night, they pick what they want to try and have a safe ride home with their goodies!
The next day I look through what remains and pack it up to donate! There are usually a few nice items-maybe a diaper, adult incontinence items, feminine hygiene products, shampoos and perfume samples. You never know.
When I have taken in just the samples I have received the "donation taker" has made mention that these are great sizes as they are easy to store and are great for one or two uses.
Sample sizes are also perfect for military care packages!
I recently chatted with a friend and his wife does the same thing! We haven't seen them in a while, but it is nice to know that freebies are helping other families Pay it Forward as well!
Does your child's school have a donation drive every year? Maybe your workplace does a collection for an organization. Start signing up for freebies and you will have a great donation when the time comes!
