Baby Jack Blanket Giveaway Week 3 ENDS 10/10/12

We were so excited to reach our 2012 Facebook fans a few weeks ago and so was one of our loyal readers!  Her name is Kelley and she runs Baby Jack Blankets!  She is offering up one giveaway a week for twelve weeks in honor of our goal!  Here's a bit about Kelley:

My name is Kelley and I am the owner of baby Jack blankets and a stay at home mom to my amazing son Jack (3 1/2) and adorable daughter Bailey (16m). I began this venture as a MOMtreprenuer in 2009 when I was let go from my marketing job upon my return from maternity leave. A blessing in disguise, this tramatic and life altering experience made me figure out who I am and where I want to go. I had a degree and web/marketing skills and just needed to figure out how to implement them.

To fill my creative void, my mom taught me how to sew. Sewing became my sanity and turned into a little business (hello www.babyjackblankets.com!). It was a creative outlet that taught me patience as a new mom and allowed me to escape from the demands of this tiny human. I came across the idea to create these ribbon blankets after seeing Jack with a product and devouring the tag. I decided to start making him a blanket with loops around it and to this day, he still sleeps with it. He tickles his nose with his red ribbons and this is his security and comforts him in times of need. My daughter Bailey will not part with her two satin loveys and cannot sleep without them. It gives me confidence and validation seeing my children and hearing others stories about how my creations bring comfort.

After many obstacles and orders, my mother in law/business partner Nancy and I created our own ribbon blanket design different from the rest with a patent pending. We decided to sew these ribbons shut into tabs to prevent tiny fingers from getting caught. Our business has grown into a busy e-commerce blanket venture and we are proud at how far this is all taking us and eager to take on new opportunities. It all started with a boy named Jack. My baby Jack. And boy did Jack like ribbons.
