Michael's October Events

I was at Michaels on Saturday with my family and picked up a brochure advertising the in-store events in October and wanted to pass them on to you. Some of them are even FREE. All of the events this month, as you can well imagine, are Halloween themed.

October 16th from 1-3 pm they are having a Wilton Halloween Treats Demo.

October 22nd from 3 -8:45 pm join them for Michaels Crop Night scrap-tacular.

October 23rd from 10 am-2 pm the event is Halloween Boo-tiful T-Shirt Make-It Take-It. Your children ages 3 and up are invited to make an easy tee using Tulip fabric paints.

Also on October 23rd from 2-4 pm there is a FREE Halloween Glow Explosion Make-It Take-It event. Your children ages 3 and up are welcome to make creepy eyes using Crayola's Glow Explosion products.

On October 24th from 1-4 pm they are holding a Bead Event including Free Make-It Take-It projects. This is an adult event.

October 25th from 6-8 pm there is a FREE Halloween Glow Explosion Make-It Take-It event. Your children ages 3 and up are welcome to make creepy eyes using Crayola's Glow Explosion products.

On October 26th from 6-8 pm there is another FREE Halloween Quick & Easy Costumes Make-It Take-It event. You are invited to create a quick and easy costume to complete your Halloween look.

October 28th from 6-8 pm they are having a FREE Halloween Mask Make-It Take-It project.

On October 29th from 6-8 pm when you purchase a bag of your choice you can create a spooky trick or treat bag during their Halloween Treat Bag Make-It Take-It event.

Also on October 29th, they are holding another Bead Night that runs from 6-8:45 pm.

Finally, on Saturday, October 30th from 10am-2 pm they are holding a FREE Family Halloween Event. From 10 am-Noon they can make FREE Duck Tape Cuffs. From Noon-1:30 pm there is FREE Face Painting and the Costume Parade runs from 1:30-2:00 pm.

The Elegant Farmer

I came upon The Elegant Farmer website while looking for something today and realized I haven't traveled to Mukwonago since last fall!  While looking I came across the option to sign up for the Elegant Farmer newsletter, even better is that if you sign up you will "get an email once a month with a free coupon item and discounted offers."  WOW!  I am excited!  You need to click on the "FREE SALSA" area and will be directed to sign up for the newsletter.  Don't forget to click on the confirming email.  I can't wait until the first one comes!  The Elegant Farmer has a lot of events coming up soon as well, they are all family friendly to boot!

Kidsfest & Baby Expo April 17th-18th at State Fair Park

The Metroparent Kidsfest & Baby Expo is coming to State Fair Park this weekend! It will feature two days of fun, entertainment, learning, & hands-on activities for kids, and information, services, & products that beginning families really need for new parents.

The Kidsfest & Baby Expo will take place this Saturday, April 17th, from 10 am to 5 pm, & Sunday, April 18th, from 11 am to 5 pm, at the Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park: 8200 W. Greenfield Ave. in West Allis, WI 53214. Admission is FREE (parking fees still apply - $5 for State Fair Parking).

Culver's Camp Randall Hockey Classic Discounted Tickets
